Simon Harris is the person who will pilot this life-size, ‘interactive’ maze, it will be displayed in a different school every week and targeted for students aged 10 – 18 years old. A HOPE worldwide tour guide will accompany the students through the maze. The students will move from station to station and answer a series of questions related to personal development, values and life-style choices.
Each station will help educate the students as to how their decisions today will impact their future. Our tour guide will provide guidance and answer any questions the students may have. We invite the teachers and parents of the students to participate in this program to reinforce the learning process. This program has been made possible through funding from the Environmental Foundation of Jamaica as well as Sprint.
“Adolescent HIV/AIDS Prevention Maze” has the capacity to educated approximately 1,000 students per week. The Ministry of Education has been involved in the development of the local program and has given us their approval to conduct the program in our local High and Comprehensive High Schools.
