I became aware or the Kingston Church of Christ when Albert Ramsay (brother in the church) came to work where I was working. One day I can recall Mr. Ramsay called me into his office and asked what my real purpose was. I considered it for a while, then replied that I wanted to become a politician, so as to help peoples' lives economically. Then he said "Why not get to know God first, then change their lives spiritually instead?" I took up the challenge, started studying the Bible with him.

During that time I developed a great friendship with Albert and his wife, Hope. I was also introduced to Russell, Peter, Donovan and Richard who later became some of the closest people to me. Through their open lives I began to trust them and with some more studies I got to know quite a bit about God.

Finally I decided to turn my life to God because of the love I saw in the Kingdom, as this is only possible because of the love of God. Now I am a disciple with the Great Commission on my heart and in my mind. "Go make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father son and Holy Spirit". ... Matt 28:18-20. My new purpose.

I baptized my good friend Lennox Francis into Christ recently. To God be the glory.
