Women's
Day- Showcase of Female Talent
Close to 3000
women from Kingston and surrounding areas will be heading to the Hilton Hotel on Sunday,
November 4th,
for "Women's Day" an annual event organized by the Kingston Church of
Christ, geared especially towards women.
"Women's Day
is a special effort to help women who are searching for a deep and fulfilling
relationship with God," says Lovette Bailey, Women's Ministry Leader, "or for
those women who feel they already have such a relationship, but want to make it
deeper."
A special
committee set up to organize Women's Day has been planning it for months,
incorporating in the event, women talented in everything from decorating to
entertainment and preaching. "I know that every woman who comes will feel
special." says Mrs. Bailey. "we've gone all out to make Women's Day
the best it can possibly be."
The event is being held this year under the theme, "What Women Really Want" and will be a showcase of female talent, including dancers from the Festival Gold medal-winning JAMM! Dancers, as well as inspirational messages by powerful female preachers. The event will be held at two separate times, 11am and 5pm.
